Biden Chastised By His Hometown Bishop

It must be tough to be a pro-abortion Catholic Democrat these days.

Rev. Joseph F. Martino, bishop of the diocese of Scranton, Pa., the city lifelong Catholic Sen. Joe Biden (D-Del.) claims as his hometown and the place that inspired his values, has condemned the vice president-elect for his pro-abortion position.

It’s tough in South Carolina too. Ease off on the communion wafers there, Obama voters. If you’re going to profess to be a practicing Catholic to win their votes, and your platform is pro-abortion, well, you might run into a little resistance from the Church.

Keith Olbermann In A Minute

I’ll have to keep an eye on 23/6, they have some pretty funny stuff. Here’s another example:

More Reasons To Like Hitchens

Proof that not everyone on that side of the pond is drinking the Obama Kool-Aid. Here’s a few paragraphs from his latest column:

Anyone would think we had just elected a hip, skinny and youthful replacement for God, with a plan to modernise Heaven and Hell – or that at the very least John Lennon had come back from the dead.

The swooning frenzy over the choice of Barack Obama as President of the United States must be one of the most absurd waves of self-deception and swirling fantasy ever to sweep through an advanced civilisation. At least Mandela-worship – its nearest equivalent – is focused on a man who actually did something.

I really don’t see how the Obama devotees can ever in future mock the Moonies, the Scientologists or people who claim to have been abducted in flying saucers. This is a cult like the one which grew up around Princess Diana, bereft of reason and hostile to facts.

He goes on to mourn the coming mediocrity of America, and expects us to be be in the same boat England is in the not too distant future. Watch the tax rates, indeed.

It Wouldn’t Be An Election Without The County Map

Once again, it’s REALLY red.

So Begins The Nationalization

Yes, the big three automakers are in some financial  trouble. But having the government take part ownership in them is definitely not the way to go.

Congressional Democrats are pushing legislation to send $25 billion in emergency loans to the beleaguered auto industry in exchange for a government ownership stake in the Big Three car companies.

Yeah, that’s brilliant. The government, who regulated the auto industry into this mess, now wants part ownership of it. What could possibly go wrong?

Seems like everyone’s getting bailout money these days. If you want to get in on the action and party like it’s 1999, you can get an application here.

I’m Really Trying…

Not to have premature ODS, but crap like this scares the bejezus out of me.

Seriously, a "Civilian National Security Force" as strong as our military? Do they get tanks? Fighter jets? Nukes?

Obama, Chicago "Thug"

So says Bill Clinton.

Bill Clinton believes the Democratic nominee, far from practicing a unifying, transformational brand of politics, has the political instincts of “a Chicago thug,” one longtime associate said. Clinton has told people that Obama allowed surrogates to try to suppress Hispanic turnout in the Nevada caucuses, and played “the race card” in reverse against the Clintons in South Carolina and other states.

Let the unity begin.

I Would Have Booed Too

What? People booing Joe Biden? How can that be? I though the Hopenchange administration was going to unite everyone.

The Giants and Eagles played in front of a special guest. Vice President-elect Joe Biden watched the game in a luxury suite with Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie. Biden was booed when he was showed on the video screen.

Guess he’s not really that popular.

Obama Win Causes Obsessive Supporters To Realize How Empty Their Lives Are

Pure Genius.
