COLUMBIA, S.C. – Police on Wednesday were investigating how a naked couple fell 50 feet from the roof of an office building to their deaths.

The bodies were found on the road by a passing cabdriver around 5 a.m. Wednesday.

Clothing was discovered on the roof of the four-story building, leading authorities to suspect the man and woman, in their early 20s, may have been having sex. Their identities were not released.

Bill Clinton was having such a good time at the Mets game that he fell asleep. I mean, it wasn’t really that exciting anyway. Just two grand slams, a 400th career HR for Carlos Delgado, and the Mets coming back from a six-run deficit to win it in the 9th off a two-run homer by Carlos Beltran.

Yeah, I can see why he was bored.

Even if I did believe what Algore is preaching these days, I’m still not sure this would help:

Hans Peter Niesward, from the Department of Gravitationsphysik at the ISA in Munich, says we can stop global warming in one fell swoop — or, more accurately, in one big jump.

The slightly disheveled professor states his case on WorldJumpDay.org, an Internet site created to recruit 600,000,000 people to jump simultaneously on July 20 at 11:39:13 GMT in an effort to shift Earth’s position.

Niesward claims that on this day “Earth occupies one of the most fragile positions in its orbits for the last 100 years.” According to the site, the shift in orbit will “stop global warming, extend daytime hours and create a more homogeneous climate.”

What’s even scarier is the fact that the article claims that over 600 million people have signed up for this (which the article hints is actually a hoax by some performance artist), and a check of their website says they are just slightly over the 599 million mark.
