Not That There’s Anything Wrong With That

I don’t keep up with Hollywood stars’ love lives all that much, but occasionally one of them does something that makes you go “hmmmmm”. This is one of those times.

Apparently Colin Farrell, who by all accounts has been sleeping with pretty much everyone, was feeling a little randy. He was trying to seduce an actress by the name of Eileen Atkins. Here’s a photo of her:

Not too shabby. Of course, that photo was taken maybe forty or forty-five years ago. Here’s a more recent photo:

Eileen Atkins

That one is about three years old. She’s 70 now. I’m not quite sure what he was thinking, going from Britney Spears to Aunt Bea, but there is one other funny thing about the story.

She turned him down.

Snubbed Again

Michael Moore just isn’t having a good week…

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) – Two days after being snubbed when the Oscar nominations were announced, Michael Moore was left off the list Thursday when the Writers Guild of America unveiled nominees for its first documentary writing award for a feature film.

Oh, well, better luck next time, Mike.

Not.

Hollywood Too Stupid To See Their Own Faulty Logic

So apparently Hollywood types are trying to get illegal aliens drivers’ licenses in California.

LOS ANGELES – Hollywood stars are joining the fight to get driver’s licenses for undocumented immigrants in California with a new ad featuring a mock award for “Best Nanny.”

More than 30 actors, musicians and writers, including Diane Keaton, Carlos Santana and “Million Dollar Baby” writer and producer Paul Haggis, took out the ad Monday in the entertainment industry trade paper Variety.

The group urges Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger to approve a new bill that would allow illegal immigrants to get a license as long as background checks found they had no criminal violations.

Wouldn’t a background check reveal that they were here illegally? That would be a criminal violation. By default their own stipulation guarantees that even if the bill passes, they won’t be eligible.

And In Entertainment News

Total number of Oscar nominations for Fahrenheit 9/11?

That would be a big, fat “0”.

Take that, fat guy.

One More Reason To Like Clint Eastwood

He’s threatened to KILL Michael Moore if Michael ever shows up at his front door with a camera.

Clint Eastwood told an awards ceremony in New York that he would “kill” Fahrenheit 9/11 filmmaker Michael Moore if he ever showed up at his front door with a camera.

With Moore sitting in the audience, the Dirty Harry star said, “Michael Moore and I actually have a lot in common – we both appreciate living in a country where there’s free expression.

“But, Michael, if you ever show up at my front door with a camera – I’ll kill you. I mean it.”

And with a .44 Magnum, no doubt.

Marlon Brando Sued For Sexual Harassment

Marlon Brando’s former business manager, Jo An Corrales, is suing Brando for $3.5M, alleging sexual harassment.

Brando, apparently still dead, could not be reached for comment.

I’m In The Wrong Profession

Things like this never happen to me:

Agelina Jolie made her co-star Colin Farrell ‘cry’ while they were filming ‘Alexander’.

Jolie, who plays Farrell’s mum in the movie, has revealed that the Irishman often used to trouble her by revealing his assets to her, so she decided teach him a lesson by pulling his willy.

“He was always wearing those djellabas (kaftans) which had a pocket. And he’d go up to me and say, ‘Will you help me get this out of my pocket?’ Staring up at me was his penis. I got him good though once. I pulled and stretched it so much, it was almost pulled off,” The Mirror quoted her as saying.

Interesting choice of words there, Angelina.

Time To Visit Roman Polanski

Seems Nick Nolte’s bodyguard has been swimming in the kiddie pool…

LOS ANGELES – Parents of a teenage girl have sued Nick Nolte, alleging their daughter was drugged and sexually assaulted at a party at the actor’s Malibu home two years ago. The lawsuit, filed Nov. 29 in Superior Court, also lists an employee and several others as defendants. One of the defendants, Nicholas Woodring, was convicted in March of having sex with the girl, then 15 and a minor.

The girl’s attorney, Philip Dunn, said Woodring was sentenced to 180 days in jail, but that the case did not go to trial.
“The criminal prosecution is over, and the victim wishes to make sure that nothing like this happens to anyone else again under the same or similar circumstances,” Dunn said Thursday.

The district attorney’s office could not immediately confirm a criminal conviction late Thursday.
“The incident happened nearly two years ago, when Mr. Nolte was not at the property,” Nolte’s publicist Arnold Robinson said Thursday. “It is our understanding that the individual responsible has been held accountable. Mr. Nolte was at the time, and still remains, concerned for the young lady’s well-being.”

According to the civil suit, Woodring and a minor gave the girl the date-rape drug GHB and then sexually assaulted her at a Jan. 25, 2003, party. The suit alleges another minor and a man identified as a “resident supervisor and security officer” for Nolte helped her alleged assailants by supplying the drugs.
It claims Nolte was negligent because he was “aware of the propensity” of the security officer and one of the minors “for providing alcohol and/or drugs to minor children,” and “the use of these intoxicating substances for the purpose of gaining compliance to certain acts of sexual harassment.”

The girl’s parents are seeking unspecified damages.

In case you’ve forgotten what he looks like, here’s a photo:
