Blogs For Bush

I got home just in time to watch the debate. Bush did WAY better this time than he did last time. He brought up parts of Kerry's record which seemed to deflate Kerry very early on. I kind of cringed when I heard Bush say “the Internets” and I knew people would pick up on that (Terry McAuliffe mentioned it on Hannity and Colmes) but the only reason I cringed is because people like McAuliffe (and the general population for that matter) wouldn't know that there ARE Internets.

But Kerry also mentioned OGB/YN's or something like that. Should have been OBG/YN's. I wouldn't care, but since people are going to mention Bush's “Internets” I figured that it was worth mentioning.

Bush should have mentioned Kerry's absence from the Senate, but oh well. He should also have countered when Kerry touted the “first President to lose jobs since Hoover” talking point. Hoover didn't inherit Clinton's recession and didn't have 9/11, which cost the country a million jobs in the first after the attack.

All in all, I think Bush mopped the floor with Kerry this time. I don't think his mopping made the floor as clean as it was when Cheney was done with Edwards, but all in all, a decisive Bush win.

Hey, the Bush campaign agrees with me.
