Chris Matthews was attacked during his show last night. Wizbang has the details and video links.
And Michelle Malkin says it wasn't her. And she has an alibi.

I knew the moment I saw the socalled attack on Matthews that it had to be a setup and what do you know it came out today. As I flipped through the stations I came across Entertainment Tonight on VH1. They reported that the attack was all just a misunderstanding. It was merely an actress Rosalie so and so filming scenes in the streets. Did this include jumping onto the stage and creating the image that the protesters were dangerous, anarchists. Well apperently the camera crew doing the filming was working for NBC. This was proof that I was right in thinking it was a setup. How in the world would anyone get through all of that security, let alone wearing a black mask ala AL Queda terrorists. I knew it was a setup then and now it is confirmed. That is why I couldnt find anyone who had seen it. I am sure that as she was getting the piss kicked out of her by the police she started screaming, "Im an actor,I was supposed to do that, I was told I wouldnt have anything done to me. Well I am sure some of the police knew but not all. Now they are trying to cover it up by saying it was just actors filming in the streets during the protests. If you need a permit to protest how much more do you need to film in the streets? I dont see the city of NY giving anyone the permit to film during this ordeal, especially considering the fact that they might get some cops abusing someone on film. No it was a setup to make the protesters look violent. Are you still watching the news?

Yes, I'm still watching the news. However, I don't typically get my news from Entertainment Tonight or VH1, so I must have missed that.
However, if it was done to make the protestors look violent, they didn't need to. The cop that ended up in the hospital in critical condition after being kicked in the head repeatedly by some protestor was enough to convince most people.
