Why Yes, I’d Love A Dance

It could be rather unhealthy for you to refuse a lap dance these days. Just ask Melik Jordan of San Diego.

Lawanda Dixon, 24, was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon shortly after the altercation with 33-year-old Melik Jordan at the Dream Girls Cabaret early on Wednesday, San Diego police Det. Gary Hassen said.

“He was in the club with some friends watching the shows when she came up and asked if he wanted a lap dance,” Hassen said. “He said no, she got upset about it, they argued back and forth. She pulled knife out of her bag and stabbed him.”

Damn. Of all the places you could get stabbed, a strip club seems the least likely, doesn’t it? Well, at least by the dancers, anyway. You know his friends had no sympathy and were cracking jokes. Probably something to do with the question of who penetrated whom. Guys are funny that way. Luckily, it turns out the guy was OK. But he’ll probably never live that down.
