I bought myself a suit while I was there. Now normally, when you want to try on a potential clothing purchase, you are ushered to a dressing room where you can try on your clothes in private.
This store wasn’t like that. It had a dressing room, yes, but it was a large open room with hooks all over the walls. So all the people trying on clothes are right there with you. And so are the salesmen, who wander in and out periodically. I don’t know if that is the norm there, since that was the only place I tried on clothing, but it seemed a little odd to me.
On an unrelated note, I know that when you get a suit tailored, measurements need to be taken, but I left the store feeling like the inseam measurement might have been just a little more intrusive than necessary. But the pants fit well, so I guess it all worked out.
