Get to know your bartender. It can make the difference between “last call” and staying at the bar and drinking until 3:30 or thereabouts.
And all the beer after 2:00 was free.

When I was in college, there was a bar that would close and lock the doors at 2 am. Then a select few of us would have a 9-ball pool tournament and drink free until about 4 or 5. Those were the days.
