O shit, if you think the Terri was bad, wait till the pope has one, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week of more on feeding tubes.
It’s a different situation. The pope (at least we are led to believe) is aware of his predicament, and no one is trying to yank it out on him. Plus, no one outside of the church really has a say in the matter. He is the head of the Catholic Church, and they don’t believe in euthanasia.
I hope you’re right. I’ve had enough feeding tube debates to last me the rest of my life.
