OK, Let Me Get This Straight

Those of us in Jesusland (that would be the red states) are a bunch of stupid, ignorant, redneck, war-mongering, Bible-thumping morons.

But…

The Al Qaeda terrorists, Hamas, Yassir Arafat, the “insurgents” in Iraq, etc. who try to blow up as many infidels as possible, be it women, children, or the elderly, are to be coddled and praised?

OK. Well, at least that clears things up.

Another Reason I’m Glad Kerry Lost

The words “Secretary of State George Soros” just don’t sound right to me (shudder).

I highly doubt he would have been given the OK by the Senate, but still… No wonder Kerry kept that quiet.

New Beta Is Out

Community Server Beta 1 is finally out. I’m waiting for download instructions now…

Batter Up

This is rather disturbing.

On The Marine With The Itchy Trigger Finger

I’ve seen the video, and I’m in agreement with Oliver North. If he’s done something wrong, he’ll be brought to justice. We should never allow what seems to have happened occur in our military.

That being said, I wasn’t there, so I don’t know the full story, only about ten seconds of it. I do know that some of the terrorists we’re fighting have been pretending to be dead, and when US forces approach them, they either begin shooting, or unleash some sort of explosive, blowing themselves and our guys up. So I can understand where the Marine is coming from.

But it also turns out that the cameraman who shot the footage is also an anti-war activist. His name is Kevin Sites, and he has photos posted on some anti-war websites. Which has some people quite angry. That’s puzzling. Someone working for the MSM has an anti-war agenda? Say it isn’t so!

Sites also has a blog of his own, which has some nice photos of the action in Iraq.

While I don’t agree with Sites’ political leanings, it seems to me that people are getting overly excited about the video he shot. That’s what he’s paid to do, and like I said, if what seems to be happening on that tape actually is, it needs to be stopped.

However, I don’t think we need thirty-plus days of front-page coverage in the NY Times, as with the Abu Grahib incident. So please spare us that headache, OK guys?

Bush Issues Late-Term Pardon

This turkey is off the hook.

But who in the hell would name a petting zoo “Frying Pan Park”? That’s just not right…

You Know Who I Hate?

Indian givers.

No, I take that back.

They Didn’t Have That When I Was In School…

Apparently, the official “cross-dressing” days in Texas and Illinois have been cancelled. On a related note, the sighs of relief from thousands of teenage boys who learned that they wouldn’t need that bikini wax after all have produced enough windmill-generated electricity to keep the lights in Las Vegas on for a full month.

I Am Jack’s Complete Lack Of Blogging

I’ve been very busy the last few days, and haven’t gotten much blogging done. I’m hoping to get caught up here and have some new stuff soon.
