Friday morning, by 6:30AM, every parking lot of every store that was open here was full. A Best Buy store near my office had employees lining people up outside, because the store had so many people in it, they were about to violate fire codes.
I’m hearing this same story from all parts of the country, not just from my neck of the woods.
Consumers spent about $8 billion on Friday, up over 10% of last year’s sales.
Worst economy since Herbert Hoover, my ass, Senator Kerry. Now get your ass back to Massachusetts and shut the fuck up.
